We pride ourselves on managing clients with:

Registered with the CIW, we are able to provide a home for 69 clients within our facilities located in Splott, a suburb of Cardiff located approximately 1 mile from the City Centre.

Operating for over 22 years, Crusader Medical Care now employ over 100 experienced and dedicated members of staff. From care assistants and behavioural therapists to registered nurses, trained sensory therapists and passive movement technicians; our clients are cared for by trained healthcare professionals in a clinical yet homely environment.

Today, our vision; “To become a widely recognised provider of quality nursing care for specialist, complex and challenging clients” has led to the development of strong working relationships with various Local Health Boards who now provide funding for the majority of our service users.

Challenging Behaviours

Many clients with complex neurological disabilities encounter severe communicative, cognitive, behavioural and psychosocial problems. Behavioural activity ensuing from these problems can traditionally lead to a breakdown in the client - care provider relationship. At Crusader Medical Care we understand and support the daily challenges faced by these clients and strive to provide a holistic approach to behaviour management in a therapeutic setting.

We specialise in the provision of nursing care for clients who exhibit complex or challenging behaviours where often traditional services and approaches have been exhausted and deemed unsuccessful.

Today, our vision; “To become a widely recognised provider of quality nursing care for specialist, complex and challenging clients” has led to the development of strong working relationships with various Local Health Boards who now provide funding for the majority of our service users.
